Just gotten into Gruntz, and i like how my mech came out, so i thought i'd show him off! And there are a couple of my gruntz in there for scale. This was my first attempt at weathering, and i'm happy with the result, although i might do a little more on the top half. Also the first time i ever got transfers to apply successfully!    The model is a gundam kit (The D-50C Loto twin set) and i am currently working on the other one. the other will be in tank mode (thank you new rules for giving me ground vehicle transformations!) |

Thats a Gundam? I thought it was a Heavy Gear from the NuCoal faction.

Yeah, it does. I do intend to get the NuCoal Hussar at some point, but the gundam kit was 2 models that are twice the size for half the price. As someone new to 15mm gaming I couldn't resist.

Nice to see the colour theme continued between the troops and mecha. Have you made a stat card up for it? With 1.1. you can add a conversion to allow it to transform to vehicle mode.

I havent made up a set stat card for the mech yet, partly because i've kept him so that he can use multiple weapon loadouts, and partly because i'm waiting for 1.1. However, he is always armed with assault missles, and then either 1 or 2 Assault Projectiles or Gatling cannons. I finished the tank mode today as well, here's the pic  And i also thought i'd show off a couple of other things i've had for a long time that i think fit well too.  |

The idea of him going into tank mode sounds great. But looks bad. Maybe I've played too much AC but it sitting there look Blah to me.
What are those new ones?? Where can i get that flying drone thing?

Ok, new mecha time! I've wanted an excuse to buy this model for quite some time, and 1.1 gave me the perfect chance. Basic idea is sci-fi egyptian army. problem is, apart from the grunts and this guy, i'm havving trouble finding ANYTHING else that fits with them... So, here's a pic of Anubis, with some GZG jackal warriors on his base, and the Loto next to him for size. I had planned to use him as an Assault mech, but my friends have declared that something that size must be a Super-heavy Grav tank or a Flying Monster...  |
