This is a guide to buying some of the least expensive terrain available.
Welcome to the Dollar Store (or UK equivalent) where everything costs one dollar (or UK equivalent). Most people will go to their local hobby shop, or mega-mart to find some new terrain or miniatures, but most my own gamer friends have completely looked this over.
In the States, we have a place called Dollar Tree. Today while venturing for a trinket to buy for my little one, I happened to wander down the toy isle. First thing I realized was that toys cycle every week, something new. None of them great quality, for kids to be bashing about, but perfect for 15mm gaming. Example: toady, you can buy 2 plastic construction vehicles for a single dollar, that seem to be at 15mm scale. Yes, they need some love in the way of paint, but that aside, perfect size.
Inspired I wondered around, and found a craft section that had various beads, baubles, fake plants and the like. Perfect for us hobbyists!
Go explore your dollar stores and see what you cant find.

Possibly due to exchange rates, we hasve $2 shops in australia... But they gave up limiting the prices years ago. Everything is still cheap, but there is not fixed price. And things do not cycle quickly. My local has spinning tops for twenty cents, whcih make good satellite dishes... They have has them for about three years now, and show no wign of running out...
