Thanks for the notes!! Also, really excited to hear about the new Air unit type... just what I needed!
Quick question:
I have the Itawa hp-bc which also has a .3mm nozzle. I can't seem to get anything more than a wide spray out of it, to get a fine line do I reduce the air flow or the paint flow (or a combination of both?)
Thanks!

Combination of both. You just need to push down more lightly for less paint and pull back slowly to increase the pressure but not by much more than the minimum pressure.
What some people don't realise is that the super fine line is only if you go very very close to the model with the airbrush - almost touching the model back to around 1cm. It is easy to hold the airbrush 3-4inches from the model and expect a fine line, which will never happen because it will disperse before it reaches the model.
So the main tip is to get in close. Also reduce pressure from your air to between 15 and 25psi. The lower pressure works well for more sensitive fine lines.

That makes sense why I wasn't able to get a fine line... i've been too far.
Of course, I'll need to practice my control. I've been getting there, but I'm still worried if I get too close I'll end up putting about an inch of paint on the model!
I'll have to get some cardboard and try it out! Thanks!
