No way. I bet the Indiegogo folks are just as keen to see the pdf even before their books arrive

OK...I've given up on going by feel alone....this evening in the dark forest at the end of Dead Man's road, in a small clearing near where the river passes...I sat naked and cast both bones and tea leaves, as well as reading the tarrot cards and communing with the dead through seance by ouija board...all indications are that I have an itchy arse from the grass....but also, Robin will receive his proof copy today

There are also supporters of the simple pdf copy + builder here...and old time supporters that bought the pdf 1.0 and made all of this possible one year ago! Remember this one man

Yup I have Boly Action on my shelf... its ok but a bit too basic. Try Rules of Engagement as it has a little more detail.

So, let me get this straight, you stopped playing the current version of Gruntz in anticipation of the newer version, the lost interest because it took too long to come out. What was wrong with playing the current version while you wait? Its not null and void yet.

In other news, I've thrown out the old tarrot cards I had and bought some new ones...I purchased them from a travelling gypsy and I've been assured these ones work and have been given a no questions asked money back guarantee!!! So, after consulting the new cards....the chaotic forces of the universe lead me to believe Monday is the day the proof copy will arrive on Robin's doorstep!

Almost I have never played Gruntz 1.0 I have the rules and am ready to try out with my friends but we decided to wait for 1.1 because it was coming out "next week" about 3 months ago. I like the look of Bolt Action, I like lack of detail... Love the new X-wing star wars game and you could probably teach that to a 6 year old. You are right though when I am bored of Bolt Action I will be back to Gruntz 1.1 maybe it will be out by then

M'kay, to each their own. 1.0 seems to be perfectly viable game and should be played IN ANTICIPATION of the new version. The rules will still be practically the same so playing the older one while waiting for the new one is still just playing the same game to a point.

The only reason I've been after 1.1 sooner rather than later was to aid in army construction for new players. I'm not a fan of telling a load of new gamers to stick their specialists to a certain base size, or buy a certain number of models to go in a squad, only to have the new rules potentially change that.
