From his twitter he's gotten back the final proof-read copies and now just needs to print a final proof before uploading it. It seems like this week might be the week!

Looking forward to it but no rush. Play some games, paint some minis, I'll still be here when it comes out.

It's frustrating as some of my regular group are prepared to try the rules but are beginning to scoff at how they are due "any day now."

It is a sad fact of life that in our instant gratification world we live in, we do not have the patience we used to have.
Me I now have an attention span of minutes. Todays hotness is now this minutes hotness.
This minutes hotness BTW is X-Wing from Fantasy flight games. Awesome game.

Scoffing is my favourite past time. In other news the rules were finished today! I am in the process of uploading to get a single copy printed. I was thinking of just getting all the pre-ordered copies printed in one go but thought it wise to have one sent to me to confirm they actually print and layout OK. It would be embarrassing to send them out blind and find they are an expensive mistake with messed up layout etc.
I have been deliberately quiet these last few weeks for a few reasons. A 75 mile charity off-road bicycle ride took its toll, before that I pulled muscle in my neck which was not great for sitting at the computer and I also found myself having to airbrush and paint some last minute items to get into the rules where I had no relevant painted examples.
This last weekend and last night I put in another 14/15 hours and hey presto it is all in one piece at 135 pages. I think I am happy with it, I certainly think I could probably spend more time chiselling away at it but I think it is time to stop tinkering.
I will see how the print submission pans out and share some images of the hardcopy when it arrives. If they print OK, I will be asking for lots of addresses from indiegogo project supporters to get the final hardcopies sent out.

Will you be waiting for the printed proof copy before the PDF gets uploaded?

Probably yes. Just to be sure they both go out with the same final copy.

Good news! I'm looking forward to the updated rules. I'll be able to get my friend to try the game out with me finally.

Me, too. Is there somewhere I can pre-order?

Probably yes. Just to be sure they both go out with the same final copy. Could I suggest going ahead and distributing the electronic copies. That would allow for a huge amount of eyes on it to look for typos, errors, etc. that could be collected before going to print. Just a thought.
