I've been playing with a couple of "for fun" painting projects:
The first is "Show Room" quality mecha and tanks. What I mean by this is, think of a car show... not the models at the show, but the cars... all the cars are bright colored, glossy, top end meant to catch the eye and the buyer. My idea is to paint a series of mechs that are just that. No camo, no ware-n-tare. Candy Apple Red, Midnight Blue, Metallic Yellow... heck, I'll do a carbon fiber pattern if I can.
The second is a Full Mural Mecha. I love space. I would love to do a large mecha painted to look like it was made of the universe itself by painting fully encompassing space mural on it.
So, that's my projects for the future. Anyone else have any "down the line" projects they want to share?
