On Medics and who they can help. While the rules say Gruntz and Commanders, what about non Mecha or power armor Specialists? If I have a sniper or a tripod gunner can I use the Medic on them? I don't see why I could use it on a Commander but not on a non-mechanical Specialist.
Thoughts, comments, discussion please.
Would it be a game breaker if, as a house rule, I changed the Medics to allow them to heal Specialists the same way they do Commanders?

Well, Specialists are classified as "Gruntz" in the rulebook... in a manner of speaking. I can see it going either way. I mean, snipers and gunners are deadly, so it might be too overpowered to let someone put a medic right by them to just keep healing them. On the other hand, they ARE a grunt, and it's not really a dirty underhanded tactic. The enemy could pick off the medic or kill the specialist before they could be healed...
I hadn't even thought of power armor units though. Is there anything in the rules that exempts them from healing via medics? That one is sort of iffy too. I mean, they are gruntz, but they're in big powered suits... I realize that's not what you're asking, but it just got me thinking.

I already do heal specialists and it's no game breaker Just don't do vehicle specialists and all is well but I do use mechanics on them instead
