Had my first game today and we came up with a couple of rules issues we couldn't find answers to. 1) When firing flamers do you roll to hit after placing the template, or do you place the template, figure out who is hit, and then proceed directly to damage? 2) When a commander assigns a Push Move to a squad of Gruntz, when do they take it? When it's assigned, or when they activate? 3) If a vehicle is assaulted, does it have to move out of melee in order to fire it's weapons? We had a mecha with a Powerclaw assault a grav-tank so moving was a bad idea for the tank, buy we couldn't find a rule that said it had to disengage prior to firing it's guns.

As i understand it: ;D 1, Roll to hit each model under the template. 2, When the squad activates - usually after the commander (so you don't forget) 3, Had the same problem last night - light mech in combat with 2 large gribblies, ended up taking shots and missed! I thought a vehicle should be able to leave combat without the free hit?

All correct except last one vehicle must leave combat to fire so will get clobbered first but remember it can ram on it's way out ! This is as long as it goes through the attackers not reverses then can shoot

Can passengers in a vehicle disembark if the vehicle moves at flank speed?

Not unless air then jump troops can exit.

Sorry slight correction they get a +4 move for a double activation as a Rapid Drop and Dust off page 24

Don't forget -2 damage against vehicles from Gruntz or anything that does not have AP. Just spotted the comment about getting clobbered.
