Propaganda Notes

This area of the Forum is for house rules, house points systems and any other items of interest you want to share.

The resulting threads will be reviewed, stitched together and occasionally dropped in periodical called "Propaganda". So please post on the understanding that it might be published.

Propaganda will be formatted and released as a free PDF and will include items like the following:

House Rules
Ideas for Perkz, Modz
Reviews / Thoughts on new miniature releases
Gaming inspiration - books / movies / art to view or read.
Ideas for alternative points systems.
Profile cards for forces you have created (sorry can't take items for Games Workshop related or other copyright material).
Photos of your models etc (again not copyrighted material)
Battlereports
Painting guides.
Terrain guides / photos
Fan Fiction
Product features from miniature companies

The Propaganda periodical fanzine will then appear as an occasional PDF download on the Gruntz.biz website and you will be credited with the entries. It will be PDF, so hyperlinks to your blogs and articles can be included.

I think I have some helpers that will pull together the first one with me, but don't expect one for a Month or two. It will be a periodical so not a specific schedule and driven by the amount of content that can be pulled together.

If I see something or a moderator spots an interesting topic elsewhere on the forum we might suggest popping details into this section.

I love the sound of this ! But, when you say we can't submit profile cards with copyright material, do you mean the pictures have to be taken by us, or we can't submit anything to do with the model?

Are you to say you will be posting select ideas from other parts of the forums, or that we can post within this part of the forum and then you will pick and choose?

Posting here is great for ideas, it saves me digging around the site. I have been doing a lot of digging today with about 4 hours work on Gruntz and picking out ideas and writing them up. It would be easier if people placed them here.

I think with regard to anything Games Workshop it would be best not to show any photos from their product range or list unit names etc. If you have an idea for a relevant unit type it will need to be renamed to something similar "Bio Beast Shooter". If it was an independent fanzine I think it could support it because I could claim no association with it but since I am getting it off the ground it would be best not to show photos or any names of GW models.

I also hope to show new releases from all 15mm companies and non Gruntz related items could feature e.g. My Infinity units etc. I am sure the more content the better.

Does that also mean we can't submit, say, a basing tutorial if it has a picture of a GW mini in it? I was thinking of making a tutorial on how to make some easy alien cysts on bases. While I can stick to the small 15mm models, the effect looks best on bigger bases, but the only bigger based models I have are GW Tyranid models.
