Thanks, its my first conversion, I just pasted some green stuff on it and started playing with it (for 3 days).
Yeah I do but I dont know how to use this bloody thing, I would rather do it on paper, and count it myself. Problem is that I like when things are balanced, so what I would have to do is to evaluate how much impact gained mobility would mean in a game, and this yet I have to find out playing, also I think gunship would have less soak and more guard due to agility. I think the point system is a little bit controversial, hope it would be fixed in the upcomming ver 1.1, but I doubt its possible to balance everything in one go.

Thanks for cheering me up, I thought I'll never make it but finaly I was able to finish some stuff, still have like 2 squads of men to paint, but slowly getting there. Wish I had more time to do it, but I am quite happy how they looks, no weathering, no shading, just camo. Kinda toy looking with this shiny varnish and bright colours (not as much as on the pics, little bit toned down in reality). Now I am only waiting for that program (army builder) to make cards for them... If you have some ideas how to expand it (lets say to 500 points) let me know. I thought about some kind of artillery and battle suits, or mecha, and a command unit with spider drones aboard.

Those look great! Really crisp paint job. I'd love to face something like that!
What program are you waiting for to make the cards?

Robin announced some time ago that hes about to release army builder on java, but there was some isues with the programmer moving to another house, so its been slowed down. I hope it will be released soon, cause printing cards from pdf piss me off, and I rather wait (still have two weeks to next club meeting and hopefully Gruntz game)

No problem, actualy I found another cool board game and we had a blast playing it on the last meeting, you have to see it, its fast about 30 min to play, and quick to set up and tear down. Think I'll be setting an open table every time for people to play.
Looking forward to next session, I've seen Neil is still making his army he had few squads with him last time, making some kind of flying transporters.

Brilliant work on the VtOl and the paint scheme is great for all the minis. You have really good skill with the greenstuff! Did you know they now also do liquid greenstuff at GW?

Raziel they just keep getting better and better What are you going to call your guys the Red Devils and have you had a game yet? BTW have you sorted any cards out yet as I'm using an excel spread sheet (modified from another members on the yahoo group) that gives a clear usable sheet to use PM me if you want a copy and ill email it over to you

Thanks Comstar, It wasn't as difficult as I assumed at the beginning, after I got used to it it went preety smoothly. But without help from the community and vids from Robin and youtube, I wouldn't be able to do anything, I am realy greatfull to people that are putting stuff like that on youtube for noobs like me. I haven't named them yet, background is not as important for me. Of course I love sci-fi but I think if you are able to make an army that tells the story itself its more than thousand words. Everybody have their own idea how the future should look like, so I rather not spoil things and let imagination flurish Who would listen to my plot anyway? when we could play a game in this time... But anyway, thats a good name you came up with maybe I'll use it anyway. -Hi those are RED DEVILS and you'll soon find where the name came from Harharharhar !!!! I haven't played with my guys yet, because my clubmate couldnt make it to the meeting for 4 weeks (we play fortnightly) and this week we play halloween games again so they will have to wait, but I made a draft of their cards, and waiting for the army builder to finaly been released, I calculated everything with a pen and paper don't like excel spreedsheets, so they are playable, few things I had to twist for gunship, hopefully my friend don't mind, but yeah, I've played gruntz allready with his army and that was the second miniature game I played (malifaux was first played once, mixed feeling about this one). If you had any sugestion let me know, I will need some to be competitive also when I'll find time I'll try to expand what I allready have, I am thinking on adding 2 jeeps, a medic, sniper team, command car with some drones and some kind of artillery, then I'll think about mechs. So far, I am happy I have at least 300 points so I can start playing my OWN army .

Well I have played anything from 100 points to 360 points and found them all good fun If you don't mind sending me the details for the 'Red Devils' ill fill them in to the spread sheet and add some pictures from the forum to finish them off for you. I can PDF them and email off or post on here for you in Jpg form like mine. gruntz15.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=profiles&action=display&thread=139Malifaux is a good game but can be a bit mind blowing with all the combo moves that can be achieved. Like you I like boardgames but also like role-playing as well so background helps with my enjoyment I think what you are going to get will round off your force nicely and ill be interested in what stats you have made up for your attack VTOL? I have thought that you could remove the transport allotment to make each one of them into purchasable weapon slots like the standard tank. That way you have a fast manoeuvrable but squidgy ASV but with respectable fire-power! What do you think?
