Not really a call to arms but more of a call for content and a quick update. If you have any factions, background, typo fixes, or other ideas for rules please send a reminder through to me directly and I will see about pulling it into shape with your input on the v1.1 release (free to all existing owners of the PDF).
In addition to various notes on typo's and rules clarifications I have plans to properly flesh out the timeline for the background (with key battle dates) and show the relationships between the main military and corporate players in a chart. If you have read through the background section and are inspired about your own mercenary unit, military division or corporate army please drop me a note and if it looks like something that fits I will add it to the background. A few of the existing factions are already from input in this group and additional content is welcome.
I also have 3 new mech designs with some stunning artwork completed for them, money from the current sale of the rules has been pushed back into these designs which are already with a sculptor in the US. I am hoping to get them into the rules in the background section as a technical readout with manufacturer details, names and payloads etc. I will put some teasers out for these soon.
With regard to the Imperator mech, it is now complete and going off for an initial master production run. I won't have any to sell until I have agreed a relationship with a production company but it is all ticking over with plans to expand the range with an existing miniature company - I currently don't have plans to go into production myself but I do really want to see the models in production for players of any 15mm game system so I will be working with one of the existing companies to hopefully inject the Gruntz models into their range.
In other news… I have been busy photographing miniatures today. It takes bloody ages! Lots of picking up models, moving them around, fiddling with lights etc. The plans are to document some starter armies I am building, with initial photos of the bare metal/resin before I move on to paint them. I hope to share some of the photos tonight but have run out of hobby steam today, so it might be later in the week.
