So here are a couple of pics of my commander and a specialist, which I'll call heavy power armour. The commander and his signaller/FO are on the same base to help identify the commander easily on the gaming board, I've also painted the commanders shoulder epaulettes a stark white for the same reason.....looks a bit dicky but a decent trade off I think. My idea for each Terran Commando squad is that they will be mounted in an Infantry Fighting Vehicle and attached to the squad will also be one of these heavy power armour specialists to provide some heavy fire support. The IFV can do that too of course, but a heavy power armour suit can go pretty much all the places a squad can go (inside buildings, thick vegetation etc), where as the IFV can't. When the squad is being transported inside the IFV, the heavy power armour specialist attaches to the rear of the vehicle by use of purpose hand and foot holds which lock him in place while in transit. I've made the IFV a medium sized ground support vehicle to capture the 2 transport slots...so both the squad and the heavy power armour specialist can easily be carried by the IFV. I'm leaving the basing until I've got all the squads and specialists done though. The heavy power armour specialist will also have a couple of decals applied to jazz them up a bit...I'll wait until I've spray on the first coat of gloss varnish before putting those on though....hmmm, might also get the super fine tip black felt tip pen out and do some insignia or the like on the commanders white epaulettes too...

I think you have sold me on those mini mecha. That is the Fire support ones from ARC Games correct? Yes mate, the Fire Support Valkries from ACP Games. You get three to a pack. They all have a mini gun in each hand and you get two in a walking pose and one in a standing pose. They are separate pieces so you can have a small amount of pose-ability. 1 x leg/waist piece, 1 x upper torso piece and 2 x arm pieces...

I finished off my specialists last night and am now moving on to my combat squads. For now though, here are the remainder of the specialists (still have to do the basing and decals); Medics Engineers Snipers Heavy Power Armour - As mentioned previously, these dudes are "attached" to the combat squads to provide inherent fire support.

I love the paint jobs and they are really nice figures. Are they the ACP federal figures?

I love the paint jobs and they are really nice figures. Are they the ACP federal figures? Thanks mate I should have some more pics up tomorrow of my first combat squad... Yeah, they are the ACP figures. For the Infantry themselves, there are two types, the Federal and the Nationalists. The ones I chose are the Nationalist Infantry. The only difference between the two are their helmets, in all other respects they're identical. The Nationalist Infantry have a more squarish helmet with a smaller visor and a crease running along the top of their helmet. The Federal Infantry have a more roundish helmet with a larger visor and the top of their helmet is smooth. The commander and his signaller in the pics above are Nationalist Infantry. The snipers are from the Federal Anti-Tank Unit, strangely, they have helmets similar to the Nationalist Infantry. The Medic, Engineer and some mini's you'll see in my next pics (notably the combat squad heavy weapons dudes - squad attachments in the rules) are all from the Port Reliance Mercs pack.

Wow! Great looking army... What do you use for bases!
Really outstanding and coherent army. Do you have any profile cards made for them yet?
