Played a game last night and had a few questions.
1. once the assaulting squad has rolled their attacks does the defending get to strike back?
2. if I wax all the defending models I am in btb contact with is the defending squad still considered in combat with me? can they move off without the free strike from leaving combat?
3. If I stay in combat how many attack rounds do I get. Just 1 attack or 1 for each action point I have?
Thanks in advance.

1. once the assaulting squad has rolled their attacks does the defending get to strike back? If they are not supressed or have not reactive fired then they can make a mental check then half can fight back. If on overwatch and did not fire and are not suppressed then all can fight back. 2. if I wax all the defending models I am in btb contact with is the defending squad still considered in combat with me? can they move off without the free strike from leaving combat? If you are only in contact with a waxed models and they are removed on activation then no free strike. If a perk or medic beings them back and the unit disengages then a free strike against only ones in contact can be made. 3. If I stay in combat how many attack rounds do I get. Just 1 attack or 1 for each action point I have? No just one attack and no reroll for damage. Hope that helps

As far as I know a push move can be used to gain a extra move before assaulting I also use it to triple move but that is a house rule all our group do

So if they take a wound they get no strike back (due to being suppressed). If they take no casualties then 1/2 of them can fight back. If they are on overwatch then all of them can strike back if not suppressed.

Correct. But remember suppression is not auto now for a waxed model you need to fail a mental check to be suppressed
