I am slowly releasing some new videos on the rules with a break down of action. Trying to keep them short and focused on one topic. There is a video out today here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FzmelGViRY&list=UU7hdmRjMmkVxrCn-biR-Egg&index=1&feature=plcpThere will be a video tonight (life and energy permitting) about the new Assault process and I will release the assault overview at the same time, so you can see it in action and read about the process. The video has been recorded but I need to complete the post production. The "reaction action" in the new Assault attack is something easy to learn if shown but not as easy to write on paper. More on that later!

Excellent, can't wait for the new Assault rules. Hope this reaction fire won't make my friends horde aliens useless.

So theirs going too be an update of the game? should i hold off buying the rules and wait till the updated version comes out? You get the update for free if you buy them now and not much is really changing.

papabees is right. There are no significant changes to the rules. Advanced Assault makes an entry and is handy for players that like adding some optional detail to their hand-2-hand combat. It should really add more to smaller skirmish or story led games where you want to get up close and personal, rather than shooting from heavy vehicles. Points system is also updated and a rapid fire weapons perk to allow potential multiple hits. That does not sound like much? But it has been an epic task to get it all playtested and organised... It is also a free update to the new PDF (if you bought the last one on Wargames Vault). It will also be a print copy. This is sadly not a free upgrade because the printing costs money but it will be available from a UK printer and US printer - also possibly an Australian printer. This keeps delivery costs down for the printed version.
