Hey guys, I just updated my blog with details on how I converted some Matchbox trucks for use with Gruntz. Now I just need to work out some values for them - should be a piece of cake.

They look great and excellent use of plastic card to make the rear load areas. I always like to see a figure able to climb in. Perhaps a mortar or heavy specialist weapon could be carried?

Even in the future we'll need technicals to fight in! They look much better than the original toy I am in the process of repainting of these guys.

Thanks! I found some other Matchbox vehicles that I think will fit the force, they just need a little work and some paint.
I'll share photos of those as well when they are ready.

They look awesome! And good for you for converting them. I couldn't be bothered with my recent Matchbox purchase:

That's a great looking truck tokoloshe! Doesn't look like it needs any converting - ready to go as is. What is it? (I will add it to my "must buy" list for Matchbox!)

Thanks for the info. I will keep my eyes open for it. I can always give my son whichever cars don't quite fit.
