I've done some searching and still cant find out how this works in 1.0
Does the +3pts give the unit a squad of 10 (obviously with no option for SA)?
The rule reads "up to 10", but doesn't say if the unit has to pay extra for more than the standard 6 models.
I know this rule will be sorted in 1.1, but I'm trying to get players interested in the game, and need to make a swarm unit for their Zerg/Tyranid style force.
Any help will be appreciated.

Currently just take the full 10 (or up to 10 if you like). It is just the same +3 pts and was designed for the lower cost swarming type units or perhaps also things like Zombies that have no ranged but are just hand-2-hand. The extra numbers are supposed to help a bit with the fact that they can easily get gunned down.

Thanks for the quick answer, I'm sure it'll please my friend to know his horde is as cheap as we thought it may be.
