HI! Just wandering have anyone played small battles with 6-10 figs per side? I played smal colonial engagements between European settlers and Maasai tribe (I love GRUNTZ for sci-fi and colonial). I use alternate activation and do not use squad rule. Each figure moves individualy in turns (Player1 movers 1 fig, Player 2 moves 1 fig, then player 1 moves another fig... After all figs have moved, NEXT TURN ) I play that each figure have 1 wound. Only problem I have is using several different armed figures againts squad of 6 or 10 natives. The problem only with points. What builder to use? Maybe I'll use Commander builder for points for each combatant, but use 1 wound per model. That means 1 Maasai warrior will cost 7 points Shoot 2 Assault 4 Guard 12 Soak 10 Mental 6 Skill 4 Weapon: Spear (Basic. Dam6) And settler with bayonetted rifle 9 pts Shoot 4 Assault 4 Guard 12 Soak 10 Mental 6 Skill 4 Weapon: Rifle (Range 8, Dam 5) bayonet (Basic. Dam6) So 3 settlers will cost 27 pts, so you can field 4 Maasai (7 x 4 = 28), so it will be somekind of equaly battle
