So with the weather being nice i got stuck in to the board today. The hole board has cost me under £10.00. Most of the stuff used was in the shed. so i'm well happy. ok its not on par with robins salute board but its fine for me. Its alot better than playing on a grass mat with a mix and match of terrain. ;D more pics here thanks for looking pancake..... pancakepayney.blogspot.com/

Looks like a great mixed desert/city area to play on. Nicely executed.

Yeah its xmas tree and twigs very easy and very cheap. I think i came across some on a board at tripples sheffield. Had a look at them and copyed them. Hot glue gun the xmas branches to a round piece of card then that to the twig tge to the base and flock add rocks ect.

Looks good mate, have you thought about some free standing terrain to fill in the areas where there are big spaces? you obviously have the modelling skill.....how about a shanty town on the edge of the city like in various films..the names of which I cant think of now..lol..you know ,where the Prawns live. and some shell craters ,crashed ships etc ,you could move them around to create new terrain for each game the next piece will allways make it better !!! congrats on what youve achieved Barry

cheers mate, just got to blend where the grey stone and sand meet and thats that. Leave it. I would just suggest that you add concrete parking blocks at where the grey stone ends. Really any small barricade like feature would be great at making the abrupt terrain change visual appealing. It's simple and makes your modular terrain boards that more modular.
