Hi all,
Just had my first game of Gruntz last night but a couple of questions came up, hopefully you can help.
The rules mention needing overwatch counters but I couldn't find any rules about what overwacth does. Am I missing something?
I couldn't see how to make a mental test for condition brown. We guessed it was 2d6 and roll under mental but couldn't find it in the rules. Is this right?
Is there any way for high rate of fire weapons to shoot more than once? We had a light vehicle with an anti infantry machine gun but it was very underwhelming, only being able to kill one man a turn.
The assault rules seemed quite vague. What happens if the assaulted unit doesn't flee, do they attack back in thier own activation? Can they attack once per action or do they need to perform a 2 action assault also?
What does the 'skill' stat do for infantry? We didn't come accross a situation where we needed it.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Bedgar, Overwatch is optional and there is a small section on it in the optional rules. I think Mental tests are explained in the rules - perhaps something I need to highlight a bit better, they are in the damage section.
High rate of fire is coming, the rules are tested and in the free 1.1. update. Basically you get an additional dice to confirm the number of shots - details coming soon.
Assault rules - yes they attack back or flee on their next activation. Assault is being broken out in much more detail in the update. However they have been good for us in many games. You basically start the fight again on the units next activation.
Skill stat will allow them to commandeer a vehicle and it covers bails. You could keep it very low though - if you don't expect them to be able to take command of a vehicle or weapon emplacement during the game. I don't have the PDF on me at work to confirm the pages to check - sorry.
