So I see lots of 15mm models with double barrels. Examples www.oldcrowmodels.co.uk/15mm/15clay/15clayl.gifThe Dominion Dragamaa Heavy Tank from CMG And lots of Mecha models feature double weapons systems. Almost every jet or space fighter also features the same weapon on it twice. Now the game question. Does two barrels, or the same weapon on the unit twice, have any benefit? If it does offer an advantage, it should have a cost. What is it? Seeing the Stat Card for the Dominion Dragamaa Heavy Tank the double barrel is only on there once. So would you pay for just the weapon system once? Is a double barrel, or double weapon system, just model 'fluff'?

whith the Dragamaa tank yes one would say it fires both projectiles at the same time for the one stat on the card. you could change it if you wanted to get 2 shots but at a cost.

This is the classic Twin-Linking Dilemma, it developed as an off-shoot of "The Rule of Cool"; I.e. if one gun looks good, two is just cooler.
In terms of in-game effect, It depends on your perspective I suppose; I'll offer the following:
1). Increase to shoot skill of some sort (increased cost via mod) 2). Increase to weapon stat line (Damage and/or Area Effect, Armour Penetration) Again via mod. 3). Pancake's increase in cost for a second shot.
In the case of the first two the cost for the Mod should be less than the purchase of a second weapons.

Thanks guys.
Anyone have an idea for what a Mod cost would be that allows you to shoot at two targets with the same action and same attack roll?
