Apparently I've been painting like crazy for the past two or three months. I've now basically completed two forces (one smaller than the other, but still . . .). The OPFOR I just painted has 70 or so GZG UNSC infantry and a largish complement of vehicles from Old Crow and GZG. Here's a couple of samples: A random selection from the infantry: An Old Crow Sabre heavy tank: And an idea of how much I painted recently: There's more pictures, along with a commentary here: duchesscamillashorse.servegame.org/?p=143Now I just have to play. By which I mean make up force cards.

I really like how you did the visor on the GruntZ. Gems and glass are technique that I have never mastered, yours look great.
The armour is well done and has a clean scheme which suit the style of the vehicles. And the Gears, well they are Gears, dambit!
Great job on the basing and force as a whole

This is an old painting guide I did many years ago (9 years ago) for the Jewel style of painting. I think I need to create a fresh updated version for visors etc.

Just so you know, it was seeing some mech canopies on this very forum which inspired me to paint the visors the way I did. I had never considered doing that before.
