You are reading my mind! I was thinking of making cards for my Judges 15mmworld.blogspot.com/search/label/judge%20dredd and have almost same stats in my mind! And I see that you cards are 300 dpi and have great 2000ad stryle desing and colour! Thank you so much! I love all stats of them. I see that you use Veteran stats for Judges, wich I think great, because of their training they can be as good as proffessional military troops, comparing to ordinary cops with Seasoned stats. And the thugs should have stats of Trained, and civilians Green, so Judges can kill many thugs The only thought I have, is maybe it'll be beter to use Plasma pistol stat for Lawgiver, not Laser pistol. Plasma pistol have better damage and range of projectile pistol, and if you give them Laser pistol, that mean Lawgiver have same range as assault rifle (Projectile Rifle)?

Wow, nice work on those minis fjodin. Pretty much what I will be going for myself, get them as in-keeping with 2000ad as possible. Love the paint job, will be happy if mine come out anywhere near as good.
Whats with the shields on the riot judges? I've only just ordered my minis so have only had the stock pictures to go on, have you added some kind of shield cannon there?
In terms of the stats I've used, I've tried to represent what your average Judge would be like as much as possible. So yeah, veteran seemed a legitimate baseline. I went for laser pistol rather than plasma specifically for the additional range; when your other unit type is dedicated assault, I felt a 6" range on your "shooty" units would be a bit restrictive. Lawgivers are serious bits of kit with several clever ammo types (ricochet, heatseeker etc), so I thought a decent range would help to translate that a little.
I already have an army builder done, other cards coming for: Lawmaster (cavalry specialist, bike cannon, infiltrator), K-9 Unit (similar build to riot judges, but as a specialist with long runners perk), Med Judge (basic medic), H-Wagon (old crow gladius medium grav with assault artillery), Riot Wagon (old crow claymore apc), Med Wagon (old crow outrider wheeled), Gunbird (old crow 25mm armed splinter vtol) and Omni Tank (old crow sabre grav).
All the names are lifted from the comic, as are weapons etc as far as possible.
With regards to units and attachments, I was unsure how to cost them on the cards. So as you can see, I just put the full cost with 2 attachments on the street judges card, seperate card for the riot gunners with "NA" in the points box.
fjodin I can easily do you alternative cards no problem, do you want a riot judges card without the swarm perk? Then cost the attachment seperately, so you can take it with either squad?

2 Spectre WOW! Thanx for using my photos for cards. If you want, I can make photos of these judges specially for you cards (same angles but without bases of other minis at lefst and right side of judge, like on Street Judge photo) Thanx for Lawgiver explanations .Now I agreed with your weapon stats Thats great you've done cards with squad attachmets! So for Street Judge and Riot Judge you should have 2 cards without attachments (you've done them ), 2 double cards with 1 attachments and I think maybe it'll be good to make another triple cards with 2 squad attachment (maybe someone will want to use full 6 grunts, 2 sa ability for judges to fight rioteers.) Now about SWARM. Yes, I totaly agree with you that for double card with Squad attachment (and maybe tripple card with 2 SA), SWARM perk should be removed, because of Gruntz rules, but we can always assume, that big 10 man unit is main force and 6 man unnit with attachments is small mobile unit. Now about model of Shield. Here are photos from 2 angles I havent added anything to them, so I am not sure what is this big thing at front of shield: decoration, gun, stun beam projector or force field generator. But what you cant see on these photos is that Riot Judges have lawgiver on their belts. So if you give them lawgiver they'll be elite armored troops, good in melee I think for my upcomming Judge force, Il'' have 2 units of Street Judges, 1 Commander, 1 Riot Judge squad 6 Lawmaster Judges and some K9 units. Now about points for cards. For cards with no attachments you just write its point value. For Double cards you use gruntz calculator, wich tell you that before you add up all numbers and devide them on 2 in gruntz creation phase for SA you pay 2 point for each SA plus weapon cost. So for Street Judge card without SA it shoul be 13 points For unit with 1 SA - 16 points For unit with 2 SA - 18 points

fjodin, I made those double cards just for you as I think I'm going to stick with single cards. For the attachments, I've put two boxes in the damage area so you can just use the one card even if you take 2. I was going to put 3/5 in the points box (3pts for 1 sa, 5pts for 2 sa) but just left them blank as the points cost may change for v1.1
I'm going to alter my unit cards though as per your suggestion, 13 points for the unit, then separate costs on the attachment cards.
The way riot judges are modeled is interesting, opens up a lot of possibilities for how you want them to work in-game. Personally I'm going to stick to using them as a 10-man melee swarm, but you could add in the lawgiver and even a shield cannon or a defensive perk/boost like you describe (force field generator). For me I think I'll just remove the "barrel" on the shield and green stuff them so it's just a boss in the middle of the shield.
