Hello,
For 15mm figures I really enjoy the look of the multiple figure basing. The style found in the Flames of War WWII gaming.
I read the multi base rule option in Gruntz and thought it handled the difference in basing styles quite well.
I was wondering if any one played Gruntz with the the multi figure basing rules and what your experience was.
Thank you

Someone at one point mentioned that it works OK as long as both sides do it. Otherwise the multibased team was at a disadvantage.

Have done both and mixed. Works very well as all multi based or all single based but not mixed as they have different play styles we have found. I play lots of Hammers Slammers in 15mm so I have a lots of multi based figures for that and several friends play FOW as well but all of us seem to prefer the single bases for Gruntz just seems to play better that way.

I too was considering the multi-base to allow some cross-over games with my WWWII and just opted to find a good set of single base rules to run the WWWII on, I haven't looked back. I would concur that all multi-based or all singles and the rules were designed with single in mind, so they will play better that way.
