Short question: Is the Meteor Zond model realy big enough for a medium ASV?

Yes and no! Not sure of it's size. But looking at stats the guard and soak are the wrong way round!

Stats don't matter, it's all about the physical size of the model. I like its style and want to use it as an airborne transport drone for my army of arachnid robots. The basic squads look like SupCom 1 Cybran Mantis Bots (mainly build of a paper clip and the remains of plastic blister boxes) while all the vehicles are walkers. Infinity REMs would make perfect light or medium walkers, but finding similar styled airborne models is not that easy.

My Google Fu is not great especially from my phone but with a search of 'Meteor Zond infinity' and then view images I got this which I could post (there was a better one but it was on a secure server ) Hope that helps it doesn't look big enough to me as that is a normal flight base it is on but not knowing how big you need it is your descision

It could take a pilot I think. I am not a big fan of it though - although all the other models in the range are amazing.

Here's a better scale comparison, and also a rather tasty group shot of the different Nomad Remotes: I'll try and grab some time tomorrow to do some unit cards that fit the models better than the ones in the first post, and maybe also some for the other factions. Robin just bought the last box of Remotes I had in stock but I'll be putting in a restock order in on the 20th if anyone wants me to get specific models in...

The Infinity servers have been a bit dodgy the last couple of days if you're not seeing the group shot. I've had a few requests to list Infinity models that could be suitable for 15mm use but this will take a few days as I'm a bit busy with Barracks stuff and several infinity roadshow events this weekend...

Now that the Infinity site is fully up again... Here's an overview of Infinity Remotes (telepresence robots) that could make reasonable Mecha and vehicles for Infinity. Unless otherwise mentioned all the models are on 40mm round bases, for example here's a Yaokong with a crouching CMG ARC Trooper: Unit cards made with an alpha version of Barracks - support your Gruntz unit/army builder here! Starting with the PanOceania bots: DronbotsAs with all the 'basic' Remotes for each faction, they come two in a box with parts for four variants: 1. HMG and full-time overwatch equivalent, these I've mostly classed as Gatlings with no Modz. 2. Guided Missile Launcher, these I've given extended range to. 3. Sensor and a rifle equivalent, these I've mostly left out as there's no camo-detecting equivalent to the Sensor skill from Infinity. 4. 'Walking Repeater', again these have been left out as they're unarmed electronic warfare extenders, model-wise they're just the base chassis with no extra bits. Armbot BulleteersTwo models in the box with slightly different guns, but the guns are generic enough to count as almost anything. In 28mm terms it's a Spitfire (MMG) and a Heavy Shotgun. In Infinity they have Predator-style optical disruption devices, hence the active camo mod. Armbot PeacemakerA two-model box with a Peacemaker bot and an Auxbot, which is a throwaway Heavy Flamethrower on a monowheel.

I'll be working through the other factions' Remotes over the next few days.

Next faction, Yu JingYáokòngsThese are the direct equivalents of the PanOceania Dronbots in Infinity and have the same equipment options. Out of curiosity I gave the Sensor version a WPD to explain the big sensor spine on it's right 'shoulder'. Yáopú PanggulingSo-called 'baggage remotes', the Pangolins come two to a box and have three variants: 1. EVO Repeater, another infowar enhancer which has large spike aerials. An NN Projector seemed the closest equivalent in Gruntz terms. 2. Reaction remote version with two rifle equivalents. 3. Minesweeper version with no guns, made by leaving off the other bits so not really of interest to us.
