Hi,
I know most perkz/modz are passive or mention using an action but what about active ones such as lifer juice, mimic or wave particle decimator. Can you do a double move and use one of these?
Thanks, Ferb

My take would be as follows:
Life Juicer - probably as it states once per game at the beginning of their activation, there's no mention of using an action, so it seems like an innate ability which makes sense for aliens/PA troops, less so for human GruntZ as they would likely need to stick themselves with needle or slap a patch on.
Mimic - this is clearly a passive ability and as long as the reqs are met, ie 6 inches away from all enemies, then they can use the ability, once they double move, the enemy gets a Mental check to see through the disguise if they end their move within 6 inches of them.
Wave Particle Decimator - For the price and the effect, I just don't see this one not taking an action. It is referred to as anti-infantry which is a weapon category for vehicles and the massive pie plate that in addition to auto-hitting, does on average does 14 - 16 damage. It's like a localized TacNuke and definitely should take an action to set-off.
That's my take on the question, ymmv.

Yeah the decimator does seem powerful. Was hoping for a ruling but I guess he's busy with 1.1 :-)

I am updating the table with Passive/Action type details. I think mostly everything will require an action but some might be passive.
