i see that there is a strike force contest or something for TOMORROWS WAR going on. now, i have both games and our club has put it down(some members have already ebay'ed or sold their TM books) because we love gruntz. anyway, how about a gruntz contest? i was thinking something like a grunts team(6 gruntz and a squad attachment) and their ride. could be a land based apc or a vtol(helicopter, gunship, hover vehicle, etc.). i could donate a prize(i have some painted teams. i have a painting service and i have a bunch of stuff i could give). well, what do you guys think?

awsome! ok boys, how about this: 1 squad of grunts with 1or2 squad attachments and their transport. could be human or alien. the transport can be a ground vehicle(wheeled, tracked, hover, old truck, etc) or flyer(vtol, gunship w/transport ability(like a hind or blackhawk). how long should the contest be? robin, any suggestions?

May want to be a squad instead of just Gruntz so things like bikes can be included. So say a squad (3 - 8 troops) and a support vehicle (any vehicle from Gruntz)
How does that sound?

what do you mean comstar? so we're goonna go with a gruntz team with squad attachment, so about 8 men and any support vehicle? that could be cool. you could use a tank or whatever. my son was gonna do a town malita squad and a converted truck with a heavy weapon on the back.

Sorry was not very clear with my last post! I was trying to say that Specialists can be in a Squad as Well as a Grunt unit. This just means there will be a bit more verity in the contest. I thought it would be nice if someone could have a say speeder bike unit or a bunch of remotes and a handler as a unit as well as a normal Gruntz unit So lets say: One unit: A Gruntz squad with or without attachments A unit of Specialists (speeder bikers / remotes etc) 3 minimum One Vehicle: A Tank A Mecha A GSV Transport A ASV Flyer An Artillery Vehicle Sorry for the confusion

We should start a new thread once this discussion is over to keep things tidy. It should contain the agreed rules / inclusions and be the single point where you post your comp entries. We can them promote it on our various blogs to help push Gruntz along. If Robin agrees he should probably be the one to open the comp up, especially seeing as he is offering the prize(s). Karma to boundforglory for the original idea mate. What do other people think? Robin?
