I will be running demo game at Czech biggest wargaming event called Combo Strike Event in autumn (the event is twice year - it is not aimed to single game but rather across the spectrum).
The question but not rather question, what game to play i will bring out my normal scifi forces for free playing (UNSC and Khurasan Control Battalion with some extras) but for "Introduction play" i got little inspired by Ghost Recon: Future Soldier - i will be getting few modern vehicles, generic bad guys (Eastern-Arab type soldiers) and US special forces (KM DEVGRU) and some heavy weapons (Javelins) the scenario will be using standart scenario - Bring me the spear - the local army convoy will be traversing while US Specops will try to ambush them. Have anyone run similiar scenario? how to balance things? will be running few test games before event but some input will be welcome

Sounds like a great event. For an event I usually play test before hand with two smallish forces and try and get something significant that can play in about 1 hour. That way if you are inviting people to join in they can try the rules with a mix of players.

I print out and store the cards for models in plastic sleeves for show games. This means that you can wipe off damage and use them again after each game. You can see the plastic sleeves in the video.
Also be prepared to adapt. For example in some early games I removed models from one side when we played a second game to make it a bit more balanced.
