G'day all, 1st time posting here, but have really enjoyed looking through all of your fine works. Here is the 1st squad and Vehicle I've finished for my Arc fleet. Also the 1st ever 15mm I've done. Hope you like

I approve of your choice of tank models.
Great paint-up.

Getting the paint chipping isnt that hard, just fiddly. Simply make some dark spots/scratches using the darkest shades of your basecolour mixed with a dot of black. Put a few marks here and there (preferrably along any sharp edges as thats generally the first areas to be hit by anything).
Then take your final highlight colour and mix in a dot of white or off white, and paint even smaller spots/scratches directly onto the lowest parts of your dark spots, try to actually get it on the parts you have painted as chips rather than underneath them as it will contrast a little better.
Some like to paint a small dot of metal in the center of these marks but I have never been able to get it right so I just stick with the two colours.
Hope thats helpful.

Thx. for sharing. Great work Kanvass.
On the battledamage technique I remember Robin having a video on the technique you are discribing. Can't recall the location but I remember it was a painting tutorial on an Old Crow model.

Loving the paint jobs. The yellow glow works well and the painted chips are splendid. Well done

Thanks all for you kind words, they drive me to continue I'm a bit over halfway through my Arc fleet Gruntz starter pack and have been busy at it, now having a renewed love of the hobby. So far... Close up of the Mech. I had a few spare mech weapons so I thought I'de try making a specialist unit. Never done any scratch builds/Converting with 15mm before so this was a bit fiddly. And finally I got my hands on one of these for later, I plan on doing a Secrets of the third Riech (spelling?) themed Gruntz force, complete with nazi zombies and the like. Eventually when all thats done I can move onto some 15mm Scenery and then hopefully a few youtube Battle Reports. /Cheers Kanvass.

Again fantastic.
I'm wondering how you get this color to fade from dark to a lighther shade of brown.
Is it practice and patience or do you have some quick & dirty approach to it?
I've made some attemps but these were very, very time consuming. Between wet blending and dry blending I found the dry version to work better for me but I'm still worried on applying the colors to light so that they do not transition very well with the darker shades - the end result and effect is therefore very minimal and judging the pictures it seems you have found a better balance.
