They remind me of the ones in Killzone 2 on the PS3. Accept the killzone ones are open top and the troops ride down sitting on the top.

Yes looking forward to the Khurasan model. Much nicer than their existing large drop-ship which does not have that level of detail.

There's always kitbashing and scratchbuilding if you feel up to it. The lead ship in that pic is a fairly simple geometric shape, it's be fairly easy to replicate in plasticard.

When I've cleared a bit of the backlog for terrain projects and GruntZ figures, I plan to run a tutorial on my blog for making your first 15mm sf terrain set. One of the things I plan to make is a small cargo shuttle. When I say small, I mean by space craft standards, it'll still be about 15mm long at least, but you could scale down the idea. It'll be a simple first scratchbuild style of thing made from plasticard. And inspired on something I saw on a Lego site. Because I can.

I think that it is six shades of awesome.
With some relatively minor plasticard conversions, this can be both a gunship and transport. It's simply a matter of finding a source, they are not easy to come by.

Isn't CAV figures by Reaper in N-scale? Don't they have some nice looking VTOLs? I know the whole line is being gone through and most models are being made larger.
