I am really questioning the stats for bombs on fighter builds, and couldn't find any other threads on this. If they are meant to be ultimate killers of ALL unit types in the game, then they succeed at that. Versus vehicles, the AP values pretty much mean you are dealing 2d6 + weapon damage or more straight up to most vehicle builds. Their AE values also allow them to drop swaths of gruntz at a time. One well placed bomb can break a game. Just curious if they were playtested and set to be the "nukes" of the game. I like the idea of curtailing them to one-shot types of weapons that each take up a main weapon slot, needing to spend more points to purchase multiples.
