How do you guys handle medics with card activation? Let's say a gruntz squad near a medic is shot at and gets waxed models in the activation right before theirs. They will then activate next and the waxed models will be removed with no chance possible for the medic to do anything. Has anyone found a way of dealing with this or are medics just not worth it when using card activation?
I think there should a type of overwatch for medics that can let them hold their activation until later in the turn, technically interupting one of your own squad's activations in order to attempt to heal it.

I might be cheeky and agree with an opponent that the Medic Specialist will activate with a particular squad. However if you play with card activation based on first dealing cards to each player and then letting them pick which cards go on what unit, you could then at least plan for the medic to go first.
However I like the overwatch idea to give them a wild-dash to the shout of "MEDICCCC!!!!"

I prefer card activation, in the entire one whole game that I have played, thus far. I have used Medics in other games much to the chagrin of my opponents; it's a lot of fun to see your opponents face when the Medic makes his roll..."Get back in action, you big baby! I've seen worse injuries in synchronized swimming!"
