So,
a couple of nights ago I was having a game of UNSC vs Xenomorphs and decided to ram a bunch of aliens with a vehicle.
Both of us are using multi based figures, so, when I rammed the aliens, I was able to run thru five squads. The question is, should I have rolled to each each member of the squad or just once per squad? If I hit the squad, should I damage each one, or just one?
In the end, I rolled once per squad, four of them failed to get out of the way and one alien from each squad was used to lube my tyres.
Thoughts?

As I recall rams are straight line movement. How I would play it is to draw a line from ramming vehicle start position to end position and move the vehicle down it. Any individual figure contacted by the vehicle model is a potential hit. If it fails to dodge, it is potential tread lube. While one's opponent should be penalized for bunching his or her troops into a fat juicy clump, I would also consider adding arbitrary protuberances to a model solely to act as Gruntz catchers to be ungentlemanly. Unless of course one wanted to add vehicle blades to the weapons list à la Car Wars....

that's what I thought as well.
We play with multi based figures, so, I didn't want the ramming to be over powering.
It did make us think of a scene from Aliens......
