Karman - Mentor Freezor.pdf (36.55 KB)Karman - Venerable Corneilius.pdf (56.84 KB)Karman - Saint Anuman.pdf (32.37 KB)
Leaders for 28mm AT-43 Karmans (long OOP) but readily available on ebay etc. Just before they went bust rackham made the PDFs of their faction books available. These can still be found using a google search or via ebay. Very good lots of fluff and great background.
I have 3 factions Karmans (Simians), UNA (human) and Red Blok (human). There were also 3 other factions COGS (aliens), Therians (Aliens) and ONI (mutant stuff ??)
The figs are 28mm pre-painted. Some basically so but most (especially vehicles) very good ! I tried a few sets of rules (including the actual At-43 rules) before I came across gruntz 15mm. The "barracks" app was the deal breaker for me as it allowed me to interpret the AT-43 stats into printable cards. We have played a few games and it really plays well. after each game I tweak the stats and update the cards. recently I have started using grutomatic. Big bonus for me is it allows me to (a) rename the gruntz weapons using AT-43 terminology and (b) print a A4 army list made up of 2 rows of cards. I print these and place in A4 hard plastic menu holders. 8 units on each side (16 in total if I want). Allows me to using a marker to mark off hits etc.
In 28mm we use the following basic changes:
movement & ranges no change (except x2 range = -2, x 3 range = -3, etc)
AE weapons radius diameter in inches becomes radius in inches
