I just finished painting up a couple of Revell 1/100 scale Apaches. Despite their non-SF pedigree, I think they're futuristic looking enough to use with Gruntz. It's not like armies don't use ancient cast-offs anyway. I apologize for the execrable lighting in these pictures. I also have to paint in that lighting, so at least I have that going for me.

Where did you find those. All I can find are 1/72 scale models.

Very nicely done. A super useful bit of kit, perfect for showing off the versatility of Gruntz! as a ruleset.

They look great. Would be nice to put some stats together for them.

The problem in Gruntz v1 is that you can only place anti-infantry weapons on VTOL, no Missiles, to make Helicopters usable against vehicles I am not sure if "Missile Light" on page 51 count as Anti Infantry weapon......

Yes I think it does and you can also use the Specialist weapons as well

I think V1.1 rule should more clearly specify that. OK, if Medium Missile is allowed, so maybe AH-64 Stat card should look like this?

I managed to snaffle a couple of these. The actual kit hurts the eyes more than the box would credit. Time to break out the airbrush I think, just stuck on a colour scheme. Any suggestions, I'm thinking green and white WW2 Russian tank stylee (green base with a white stripe around or along the fuselage) or if I can really bring myself to work out how to do the masking..... Celtic knot-work front to back, with a Celtic style wolfs head on the nose (too ambitious?)

This is a Battletech mini I did some time ago (I cannot take credit for the quality of the photo's). Would a Celtic design like this work? Should be easier in 15mm rather than 6mm right?
