For our first game , we played "Assaut on the battery" scenario (p100) with 150pts armies.
One point make this first game odd. If we understand well, each player win 5 VPs for every objective he destroy as an attacker or for every objective not destroyer as a defender then you add to that vp total the victory points win for destroyed units (ied : a 25 pts destroyed vehicule bring you 25 Vps)
That is a maximum of 15 Vps for the 3 objective, in comparison with the 150pts you can win by destroying enemy unit. that seem a rather a low ration - 15/150. It seem to us there is no point/incentive to play to fulfill the objectives.
Did we miss something ?
We are going to replay this scenario but this time, i am thinking to tweak it. 1 VP will be scored for each unit/vehicle/specialist/commander destroyed whatever the point cost of it. That will make the fulfillment of the scenario more attractive. Destroying unit can bring you up to 10-15 points and fulfilling the objective will bring you up to 15 Vps too. That is more balanced scenario for me. what do you think guys ?

I'm going to have to look again, but when I played it I only gave VPs for the objectives, not destroying enemy units. I just figured that command needs you to secure the objective, it doesn't matter how many units you destroy or don't.

It was built to allow an additional edge, rather than being the key focus but I can see how adjusting the points up for objectives would help. Thanks.
