Robin,
I'm about to start pimping out Gruntz in my area, and want to make sure I have as much nailed down rules-wise as I can. I haven't been able to find anything about the following answered anywhere.
Pg 90, Printed Gruntz 1.1 Rulebook. Vehicle Modz - Smoke Burst. It states that once a game the vehicle so equipped may deploy a smoke screen, providing concealment all around, but can still fire on that turn. It also states that this may provide cover for nearby models.
What does this concealment do? Completely block LOS to the vehicle for one turn? Provide Cover for the vehicle even if in the open ? (plus to Guard stat)?
Clarification of this would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Ok, so I found in Barracks that the Smoke Burst gives a +4 Guard to the vehicle itself for one turn when used. Nothing else about giving other units nearby cover or concealment.
Main issue is that this +4 Guard is not noted or explained anywhere in the rules.

I just spent 20 minutes looking through the rulebook, and I think you're right. The only place it's given a rule is in Barracks, which is odd. I couldn't find anything in my old v1.0 either.

Robin, can we get some clarification on the Smoke Burst mod for Vehicles please? Is this just meant to give a temporary +4 Guard bonus to the vehicle for one turn, or does it in fact place an obscuring smoke template around the vehicle giving the vehicle +4 Guard, and denying LOS to units blocked by said template?
