I am playing with the idea of having "faction" type cards created. These would cover most manufacturer models and perhaps come in a box of 100 with multiples and payload variations. Here is a sample of some I did on a low cost card printer. Link to cardsPlastic credit cards might be to expensive to be worth doing for people, so it might just end up print on demand with baseball collector card sized details. I actually think I could also gather peoples ideas and thoughts on good builds to put in there and they will also have to be updated with the current 1.2 errata changes.

I think it sounds like a great idea.

It's not a bad idea, however it kind of detracts from one of the good things about Gruntz in that you can design your own stuff and tweak it to suit your personal tastes. It also doesn't really allow for the naming of your vehicles and renaming of weapons etc. There are so many combinations of Unit Types, Chassis, Attributes, Weapons, Perks and Attachments etc, that I don't think you'd be able to cover them all.
However for people who just like to game without having a personal touch and essentially just want to pick up and play, it would be a worthwhile product.

I'm getting into the game because I don't want to build a poorly performing army again. Been burned enough times by various game systems. With the Barracks I will buy and paint the models I like and stat them however I need them.

I think the cards will be something that helps lets dedicated players get into it. You can either use a set of pre-created ones or have a go with the card versions.

I think it'd also be a great reference library. There are so many options it can be hard to know where to start.
