Played a 300 point game with Masterchief this evening. Used his city map setup and played the He Who Laughs Last scenario. I didn't think to track what exactly happened, but we did learn that the full vehicle turn rules are a little tougher to use than first anticipated when our vehicles weren't starting out in a good position. Most of the action took place on my right flank where both of his APCs and their Grunt cargoes, his tank, and commander and aide in big battle suits took on my tank, walker, three units of infantry, and two mortar teams turned a stretch of the city streets into a buzzing fire zone. You can see most of that fighting in this top image, the troops in buildings and in the rubble trading fire while the tank and ACPs pop smoke and hope to ride out the turn before returning fire. The mecha's using the building corner as cover. My tank is to the left, off the image. This picture is more what was going on to the left flank. I had already run off one of his units of Gruntz and was attempting to take out one of his other Valkyries before it could get a good bead on my tank. Good times!

Looks really good!
How did you find the 10mm terrain worked for you?

It works fine, although a bit dodgy for some things.
For example, we found that the roads and corners make for some tight manuvering now that we're using the turning rules in the book.
Likewise the buildings are pretty abstract. They're all 1 action to move in or out and the unit can pretty much see wherever the building has windows. They're Soak 15 with 20 wounds each. Attacking them doesn't need a mouse hole since they're all office buildings with multiple entrances.
But it looks slick on the table and we do have some fun encounters. Example, in the 2nd picture above there's a unit of Gruntz hugging the side of a small building. Directly above them is a K-rail. Masterchief had Faded a unit of Gruntz back behind the rail after I jump jetted a couple of my Robots in to assault. He lit them up with the unit and the two Valkyries you can see in the picture (the Robots are long gone). But he may not have noticed how close my unit was and that he had no cover vs. them. They moved up to that point and lit up his squad, forcing them to Brown. The single model left fell back toward his side (up the picture) out of frame.
The big thing is with just buildings and the occasional road obstruction cover's at a premium. The lines of fire can be merciless if you get caught in the open.
