Hey guys,
I've been wondering for a while if someone has made a conversion or supplement for fantasy games with this system.

I think this has come up a couple of times before. As Gruntz is focused on ranged combat and a fantasy game would presumably be focused on melee combat I can't see it being a great match.

I can see it used as a small skirmish in a fantasy game. Maybe centering around more specialist and less Grunt squads. Now that I am thinking about it doing a monster on heroes style game. A single 100 pt monster vs 3+ Grunts Specialists. Just need to agree on what 'limits' you want to use via Mods, Perks, and stats. I will definitely be trying this with my gaming group in the next few weeks, thx highelfevoker for the cool idea.

So..... tried out a 'Fantasy based' Gruntz game the other day and it was FANTASTIC! Pretty much a quick 'D&Dish' party that did a quick 'dungeon' crawl. There was laughs, cries, and a DRAGON! There was some issues with balancing but overall very fun to run (especially using the random activation rules). We played it as a 5 vs 1 style setup with someone playing the 'dungeon' and the others playing the heroes. The heroes were all specialists (medic, sub-commander, etc.) with a mix of weaponry. I hope to continue this into the future as well, it was loads of fun.
