Here is a Khurasan dropship I painted up a year ago as an alien assault craft (slightly cylon'ish) supposedly with an iridescent poly-crystaline/amorphous cerystaline ceramic-glass armor superplating over a polarized hull base plating. Hence circuitry and glowing between the armor panels from the charge conduits. Yea I have been doing too much research into ceramics at work. 100% airbrushed as or course.

That looks beautiful. I have this model and it's one of my favorites.
The shimmering paintjob actually reminds me a bit of Babylon 5. In a weird way, I think it'd make perfect "Stealth" camo for a spaceship...
