I was told this was a forum that might like some of the 15mm items ive started or have already painted. So for now lets start with this. I painted this drop pod recently for Clear Horizon miniatures. Since Dwartist already did a very nice deployed version, I decided to paint one just before landing. This drop pod was painted to look like its hull had been through multiple reentries ( burned metal oxides), and so was darkened and shotup from people who were less amiable about its previous insertions. I had painted the doors inside and out before attaching, so after Harold suggested it, I decided to have the doors mostly deployed just before touchdown. As usual 99% airbrushed sans bullet hole highlights.

Just incredible stuff... thanks for posting!
I'm going to have a "smoke plume" done up in resin, similar to the custom base Third Fate Creations has done, to help show Drop Pods being deployed...
