First of the questions,
A The vehicle specialist rules suggestions mention fielding some of them as a unit. Do these function as a normal unit? Can they combine fire, can the entire squad be given a push move and do they need a leader to stay coherent to? I can see them losing flexibility and gaining strength in numbers this way but not sure if it balances out in the end.
B If A is true can you have the unit consist of variations whit different weapons or perks; a heavy weapon specialist with let rip when the rest do not have that for instance?
C of A and B are true, then could I make the squad leader a Sub-commander and could he give orders to his own squad? Could he push move the group he is a part of? At first I thought this to be cheesy, but then assuming A and B are true but not C I could run two units side by side and have them push each other along.
I have been contemplating my next force, I am looking to create something fast elite and with that clean high TL look. One of the things I have been contemplating is a squad of larger power armours, currently considering buying the privateer press dawnguard to use for them. (if anybody is interested in splitting a box of them let me know) I imagine I would stat them as vehicle specialists; tough I note higher levels of those have a lot lower guard then small mecha so I might end up going for PE level grunt specialists. Suggestions on that welcome as well.
