As in California. Saw some dudes at my local playing Gruntz and I took the plunge myself. I like the look of the Sahadeen by Rebel minis. Any ideas on putting together a list with those.
Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Gracias,
Rob

I'm a newbie to grunts to and my Sahadeen models ought to be hitting my mailbox tomorrow. I've been writing them up as a "mid-tech" (translation: still using gunpowder for the most part) Bandit force.
I've given the typical grunt squads Melt Away as a perk to let them slip into a near-by piece of terrain when things get messy.
I've only played them in one test game against my son's "grays". I'm running them as a high-tech invasion army. Laser weapons as "disintegrators" and no armor but with force fields.
My Sahadeen got their bums handed to them. Trying to pick off forcefield protected grunts with a slight weapon advantage proved to be rather difficult to pull off in a singe squad on squad encounter.
I've also ordered a Gila and Viper model to back my Sahadeen infantry so we'll see if that kind of fire power helps drop those shields so my rifle squads can make those hits stick.

Hi there. Looks like the Sahadeen are popular in the Bay Area. I recently put in an order for a bunch myself. You play at Endgame? We might go head-to-head someday.
I'm playing mine as a "light" force (as in light infantry) who may seem low-tech but actually have a significant technological capability, albeit in very specific ways (which will be revealed soon).

While you building your Sahadeen light infantry detachment Or just want to try something Different. I can provide the models needed for up to a company level Detachment from one of my science-fiction Factions.
