Hi, two pics of my first finished buildings: Both were built with plastic Containers and various HirstArts-blocks. Another thing which is currently in the works: And a first "test-table": Regards, Thomas

Those are great... is that interior made from hist blocks? The first thing I thought when I saw the first building was "Wow, that's a cool submarine!"... it's still a cool looking building, even if it isn't a submarine Did you make the buildings out of found pieces?

Hi,
yes the interior is done with Hirst Arts... ...and the rest I did indeed make out of found items - the big green building was a container for mushrooms ;-)
And the submarine really got me laughing!

Cool buildings, I love scratch builds. That promises to be a sweet looking table, be sure to keep us posted. Just out of curiosity, how much does the interior building weigh. I've always liked the look of those Hirst Arts pieces but was afraid the whole thing would end up weighing a ton.

In fact: it weights a ton! No idea about the exact weight, but guess it is around 5-6 kg...

It all looks really consistently great. I like the hidden base looking one and it reminded me of an old WWII underground radio base in a local park.

Thanks for the nice words!! I am still not finished with my Gruntz, so the testgame has to wait a bit longer...
But promised: you will see pictured of everything in action!
