I was pretty wrapped up in Gruntz's backstory and factions, and I was curious if anyone's made cards for ARM, or any of the factions, for that matter. The Alioth Research Machinists just happen to be my favored faction in the book. On the other hand, since the New Israelis and Arc Troopers are recommended models for ARM in the book, I suppose it could make sense to use cards for them too.

If you're looking for what people have done with that army and others cards, check on this board and gruntomatic.com and their army list section. But in this universe, resource seems great enough that you can easily tailor your army to fit your playstyle or a theme of your choice.
I'll get back with you on this, I'm trying to talk to Robin about creating some Gruntz official faction cards in the not to distant future. I will post on this soon as we get something going. But I think this would be a good time to ask;
Would you (Aristo, or anyone else reading) like to purchase card blank PDF's?

What do you mean by card blank PDF's?

By what I mean is a card with no image, numbers, rules. All those areas are blank. you could open these cards in any basic art program (MS Paint, for example) and simply type in the names, numbers, etc. Though this isn't as fast as say... the Gruntz Builder, you could add a little more flavor to your army by having cards that match the style of that particular faction. So for example, my Vespid card: Something like this with out the numbers, rules, name, and picture.

Aren't there freebie cards in the Yahoo group files?

I need to make a big effort on the standard profile cards again. Jon at GZG has said yes to allowing me to using his factions and "mapping/proxying" them onto the factions in the rule book. However I need to spend time taking photos of the painted miniatures and then getting some stats agreed for them. I would ideally like to build a starter type force for each faction, possibly even looking at some more specific MOD's and Perkz to give them a unique feel.
I just need an extra day every week to make this happen and the priority currently is the Errata.

Robin, Maybe you could allow the forum here to assist in this. Different people could take a faction they like and put some cards together with them ultimately needing your approval. Then you would just need to take the photos.

I have a bunch of GZG painted, if you need them. Plus, I already have pics for my Gruntz cards, so just let me know if you need any of them.
