Okay, so for those of you that have seen some of my posts (or hell, know me at all) I've been working on developing a Lovecraft/Cthulhu themed army for a while, both in rule cards and listing which miniatures to purchase when it gets about that time.
That was until 2 things happened last night #1 I found all my old 90's CBR's of Tank Girl, and #2 my punk rocker brother in law popped into town to hang out. The result is several concept sketches of "from scratch" miniatures for a punk based army for the official Gruntz faction of Rim Defectors.
The idea is to have an army that will be built around "on the cheap" technology, or "liberated" machinery. All of which covered graffiti and the like. So expect things like a tank with "Size Matters" on the barrel of it's plasma cannon, the occasional ill placed happy face sticker, and other various shenanigans.
As excited as this army makes me, it completely ground my thoughts on the HPL army to a halt.
Anyone else have this happen?

Al.The.Time! ;-) I usually have between 3 to 5 projects running at the same time and constantly have to reign myself in so as not to start anything new before I finish one of them.

I had a dream last night and Cthulhu said, "Aris, your cultists must destroy Tank Girl or be given to Peabody"...
Personally, I think you have found the perfect OpFor gaming combo. Rock-it.

This sounds really cool, are you gonna go full on and use punk type infantry?
