Nice. The vehicles in the first picture look really great. Also the Tau walkers look great (the ones not looking like the CMG ones and their weaponry under their arms)

What minis did you use for the Lizards?

Tau were my army of choice in 40k, so I would love to know what models you used for them in 15mm.

Lizards are by Pendragon. The Tau are a mixture of CMG and actual GW bits like firewarrior shoulder pads and the Pirahna's cut down to make the tanks and transports. The drones are pins with cut down Tau guns underneath. Bens done a real cracking job on these so when they are finished I'll see if I can take some better pictures with discription of how they were made

Aren't the Pendragon lizards 10mm? How do they scale to regular 15mm troops?

Yep 10mm but work well as there guns are a bit over sized for them think warhammer skink not saurus for size I like them. I will be getting some different types to vary the force as well it's why I have found the big flying lizard so my bugs can used for some of the aliens from pendragon as well again good scale for 15mm.

If you want to give them a squad of 'heavies', try Stan Johansen Miniatures Draco Infantry... Those lizards big, meaty, and ready for battle!

Well this is about a week late so hopefully will remember what happened in the right order (must be getting old) So we start with the FSE setting up first then the Lizards set up to try and make the humans pay! They have brought along two of the newer beasties to try out There was a lots of shifting around on the first turn but the Lizard commander shouted at the big flying thing and said go get them! It looked at the small group of Lizards in front and then back at the commander a bit sheepishly! The commander said not them .... them pointing at the small tin canned humans across the town! The other beast saw his mate fly off with the commanders assistance and decided to go after the softer option and flam bayed them in and around the fuel dump! The next turn one of the FSE vehicles dropped a mortar shell right on to one of the Lizards sneaking down one flank and giving them a headache! The FSE move up and combine fire at the flanking beasty and chip a tooth! It them breaths back cooking to for a snack for later! A bit more jostling of forces and then the Tin Cans (PA Troops) stroll down and send two missiles into the centre beasty really P**sing it off! So at the end of turn two the Lizard commander seems to b on his own at the back of the table after telling of a unit of Lizards for advancing and go get that mortar vehicle before it does more damage! The flanking beasty goes round the building and spits a fire ball at the FSE Tank doing significant damage by knocking a wheel off! Meanwhile back in the middle the humans let rip at the Lizards in cover and manage to upset them! At the other side of the table the FSE mortar vehicles play cat and mouse with the other Lizard squad. It seems the gunnery is failing the FSE. But the last surviving members of the Lizard squad move forward and its SA plasma gun rips into the nearest mortar vehicle and neatly blows it up! So a lots happen this turn and here where turn three ended with its commander running up the right flank trying to keep its expanding force from falling apart! The beasty in the centre flamers the FSE troops and they end up having enough of that and start to head home! The lizard turns with its second shot and finishes off the last mortar vehicle. The last two surviving members of the forward FSE squad splits so that the sarg lets rip at the left flank Lizards taking out a Lizard. The SA missile launcher moved round the fuel depot and had a pot shot at the centre Beasty but staggered at the last moment and missed! The bent barrel of the Tank tries to finish off the centre Beasty but again misses! Well I said it was P**sed off so the centre Beasty turned and aimed at the Tank and blew it too pieces! Beginning of the last turn both Beasties try and turn the flank on the FSE and they both succeed and take out the last of the units with the FSE commander. Very much Game Over!
