Great Forum!
I live in Colorado Springs and am part of a small group here and from Pueblo CO that have been actively playing Gruntz for a few months.
We are looking for more players so speak up if you're interested. I noticed a couple players from Denver and northern CO.
I've been playing Mini's since the early 80's; I cut my teeth on Empire- Napoleonics. I have simpler tastes now.
Our group spent the last few years toying with VOID, VOR and a few other 28mm sets. One of our guys found Gruntz and it's pretty much all we think about, just ask my wife.
The set is fantastic and exactly what we have been looking for. Thanks Robin and thanks to all your playtesters. In fact my two oldest boys, 6 and 8, love it. We created some stats for their mini transformers and battled a few times.
Our group played a great game yesterday to help us get the rules down. I'll post an AAR in the next couple days. It was a small skirmish, 150 Pts, mostly troops but it had a showdown at the end between an Imperator and a (Ral P) Mad Cat. Let's just say Assault Missiles will ruin your day.
My buddy is playing a Marstek army (Rebel Titans) and my first one is a mercenary outfit using the Mangalore looking minis from Rebel.
Anyhow, enough rambling. We'll try to take an active role on your forum since we enjoy the game so much. Thanks to everyone else for all the great material you post here. Squinch
