Using the same technology used to make Grav Units hover, the Repulser Cannon is a weaponized grav engine. Using a series of focusing coils, gravitonic compression chambers, and a very heavy recoil reduction system, the Repulser cannon fires a stream of gravitons at it's target, pushing them great distances. Though this type of attack does very little damage initially, it can be a powerful tool to scramble enemy tank formations, push away enemy support, and even throw mechs into buildings. What it lacks in outright power it easily makes up for in outstanding utility.
Though mainly used on the defense, House Ironboar has used this weapon as a powerful assault tool. By loading it on fast, heavily armored tanks, they use the Repulser Cannon to crush mechs, ASVs, and Tanks by slamming them into buildings or terrain.

Special Rule: Gravitonic Thrust[/u]
A model struck by this weapon receives no damage from the attack, but must be moved 12" directly away from the attacker along it's line of fire. A unit then receives damage for how far it could not move with a hit with strength and damage equal to the inches it did not complete. A vehicle damaged this way takes the hit immediately, but must still be rolled against it's soak.
Example: A tank is successfully hit and pushed into a wall 3" away. 12" -3"= 9". Therefor the unit takes a STR 9 hit automatically, with DAM 9.
OPTIONAL RULE: BUILDING DAMAGE
(Use this if you are playing with destructible buildings)
If fired at a building, it does not push it, however the building takes damage equal to 12 minus the distance you are from the building. If a unit is pushed into a building, the building takes the same hit and damage as the unit pushed.
