If you haven't seen it, 20 million miles to Earth is a classic of the genre and showcases some excellent Ray Harryhausen stop-motion in the monster Ymir, and it's battle with an elephant. The film was shot partly in Rome because Harryhausen wanted a holiday there and convinced the backers that the location would make for spectacular fights in the Colosseum. The tanks used in the film are actually M24 Chaffees, rather than the M4 Sherman I have statted up, but I don't have any Chaffees, so you get Shermans. You can see tha trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=igpP7IVww_g

I had always wanted to go for that B-movie style of game. I have some dinosaurs and other big monsters to use, I just need some suitable pulp style tanks from WWII. Robin

I had always wanted to go for that B-movie style of game. I have some dinosaurs and other big monsters to use, I just need some suitable pulp style tanks from WWII. Robin I need to add a flamethrower team as well, really. Plastic Soldier Company now do some really cheap ones if you want Shermans. If you want the more modern ones, then QRF are you store of choice: quickreactionforce.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=440_444_447_754The ideal ones are M24 Chafee, M26 Pershing and for some of the later 1960's films - THEM!, for instance, you could even go for varios versions of the Patton, M46, M48, M60. The M60 A2 Starship with the CLGM turret looks especially good.
